Annapurna Interactive Announced Blade Runner 2033 Labyrinth

It brings the franchise back to games for the first time in 25 years.

Annapurna Interactive announced Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth – the upcoming adventure that "brings the revered franchise back to games for the first time in 25 years."

"Set between the original film and 2049, Blade Runner 2033 takes place after the events of the Black Out and asks: what does a Blade Runner do when there are no Replicants left to hunt?"

The original Blade Runner point-and-click adventure game was released in 1997, developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive. Last year, Nightdive Studios launched the Enhanced Edition of the game, which was not met well due to its graphics. The studio later explained what went wrong, saying it was "a death by a thousand cuts."

Annapurna hasn't shared much information about Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, just said it would be coming to PC and consoles and promised more details in the coming months.
