The upgraded tool promises to be more powerful and easier to use than its first iteration.
Over the past few days, Archviz and Add-On Maker Antoine Bagattini shared several behind-the-scenes demos, announcing an upcoming update to Rain Generator, a neat Geometry Nodes-powered tool for Blender, released by the creator back in September, which allows creating realistic and customizable splashes of rain with visually accurate collision and wind, set up lifelike puddles, and more.
According to the demos, the upgraded tool promises to be more powerful and easier to use than its first iteration, bringing many cool new features, such as the ability to apply the rain shader to any material in one click. Moreover, if you have already purchased the tool, you'll be able to get the updated version of Rain Generator for free upon its release.
The second version of the generator is currently WIP but can already be tried out in alpha by clicking this link.
