Apple AR Headset is Predicted to be Launched in Q2 2022

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is sure of it.

An industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple's own augmented reality headset might be launched by mid-2022. The prediction is based on ongoing research, part of whose findings he shared with investors on Tuesday.

Apple’s in-development VR and AR devices have been the subject of speculations and leaks for several months. There were some indications that the first version of these headsets will have up to 15 cameras to provide an immersive experience for users. Another rumored Apple headset is the Apple Glass, which will use optical waveguide technology to overlay computer-generated graphics into actual scenery.

If Kuo's prediction is to be believed, all the fans of virtual reality might soon enjoy a video see-through augmented reality experience that uses a lens setup by Genius.
