Apple: Developers Made $230bn on App Store Since 2008

The number was shared at the WWDC show yesterday.

Apple states that developers generated $230 billion from launching apps on the Apple App Store since 2008. The number was revealed during the annual WWDC event yesterday. The team noted that the number includes revenue for both non-gaming apps and gaming.

Previously, they reported that developers made $155 billion by 2020. Apple's original policy was to take a 30% cut of app revenue generated through the App Store. Then, after certain events, they decided to lower the cut to 15% for smaller teams earning less than a million dollars annually.

What do you think about the whole Apple vs. Epic story? Where will it lead two giants?
