And Mel will likely be next.

Arcane is full of exciting characters with impressive abilities, but not all of them come from the source material – League of Legends. Creating a hero interesting enough to appear in the game must be extremely gratifying, and this is something Arcane creators wanted from the start.
Amanda Overton, the show's writer and producer, told GamesRadar+ that the creators always hoped for the outcome. We know Ambessa made it to the roster, but who is next? Overton named Mel Medarda as a likely choice:
"I think we were all, in the writers' room, thinking 'we're making something badass and unique here – hopefully, fingers crossed, they'll put her in the game.' I think that was always our hope that some of the characters in the show would go to the game and vice versa," she said.

Mel's magical powers are intriguing and would make her a fine hero, fitting just right in the universe. "We always knew that Mel would be a mage, and she would have this arc, and we also always knew what her powers would be," Overton shared. Moreover, the team thought it would be "very interesting to give someone a power that's like a mirroring power, because they can beat anyone... they could be up against the most powerful mage, and they could beat them. To me, that is infinitely interesting."
I must admit that it would be interesting to see this ability in action in the game. Remembering that one scene at the end of Arcane every time she uses it would be a nice bonus.
"It's also 'why not give it to a woman?'" Overton continued, "We're known for being motherly, we're known for being empathetic. And Mel was that character in the show. As much as she tried to have that hard shell around her, she always had that."
Honestly, I'm not Mel's fan, but it's awesome to see the show's creator changing lives not only with Arcane but also in one of the most popular multiplayer games in the world.
