According to recent reports, Arkane Austin was actively working on updates for Redfall before Microsoft announced the closure of the studio

As stated by IGN, Arkane Austin worked on the DLC and several patches for Redfall, which the studio planned to release in 2024. Among other things, the developers planned to add two playable characters to the shooter, which were known before the release. They wanted to release the next patch for Redfall in May. It was supposed to have an offline mode and make it possible to keep the game running in the future, even when the servers are closed. However, the patch won't see the light of day.

According to the roadmap, one of the largest updates was supposed to be released on Halloween in the fall of 2024. However, now it's unknown at what stage of development the content update was.
