Artists Shows How to Quickly Fix Character Baldness with Unusual Method

Don't want to bother with more hair? Here's what Sun Somei does.

Suddenly noticed that your 3D character has some gaps in their hair? You could add some more and groom it properly, or you can follow Sun Somei's advice and simply fake it.

The artist fixes baldness by using a narrow depth of field, hiding the issue in blur and low lighting in their fiery animation. The hair simulation was achieved with the HairFlow add-on for Blender, so check it out if you want to create something similar.

Blender is a powerful software, especially in capable hands, like Sun Somei's, whose feathered dancer and slow-walking character animation you might have seen on the creator's X/Twitter.
