ASCII-Style Post-Process Effect In Unreal Engine 5

EvilReFlex showcased a new work-in-progress.

EvilReFlex, whose impressive PS1-style jittering effect we shared last year, has continued to work on recreating various authentic retro-style visuals in Unreal Engine 5 and sharing their progress with the public.

In this new effect, the characters are stored in a texture, allowing for easy replacement with other symbols, not just ASCII art. Check out the version with dots:
