Ashfall: An Upcoming Web3 Game by Days Gone's Creator

In this game, you will need to survive on the streets of post-apocalyptic Seattle.

Creative Director of Days Gone John Garvin and PlayStation veteran Michael Mumbauer have announced the creation of a new game development studio called Liithos. The studio is already working on Ashfall, an open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic Seattle and powered by Web3 technology. The team stated that the game is coming to PC, consoles, and Hedera, a blockchain-like technology.

As for right now, not much is known about the game itself and its release date. Here's what Liithos' official website tells about the game's plot:

"Pacific Northwest, hundreds of years in the future. Global warming has led to massive flooding and fires. The appearances of the Trace – pockets of dark energy – have created havoc with the weather and human lives, decimating entire cities. Civilization has collapsed into local Enclaves where humanity fights to survive."

The team has also shared several pieces of concept art related to the upcoming title:

"At Liithos, we want to deliver the next evolution of AAA gaming to the masses in connected ways that have never been experienced before. The gaming industry is amazing in that it has evolved through a series of innovations, never going backwards," said Liithos' CEO Michael Mumbauer in a statement.
