Aspiring Animator Watabe Yuto, a.k.a. piAoNe21, continues their journey to mastering 3D animation with an impressive new sequence that, at first glance, appears more like a scene from a 2D anime film rather than a 3D creation.
The sequence, featuring an expressive anime-style low-FPS character attack animation, served as an opportunity for the artist to experiment with frame-by-frame and hand-drawn effects in a 3D space. Unfortunately, details about the animation process are limited, with Watabe only disclosing that the setup was done in Maya.
