Assembling Vintage Motorcycle in Maya

Here is a nice example of modeling complex vehicles in Maya. Ilmari Saari shows how he worked on an old school military motorcycle from the WW2 era. The project is based on Harley Davidson WLA 42.

It took the artist 55 hours to finish his motorcycle, but the results are worth it. Check out the final renders below:
