The phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 18GB of RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery.

ASUS presented its new powerful ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro sporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with up to 3.2 GHz CPU clock speeds, a 165Hz 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 720Hz touch sampling rate, up to 18GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a bigger 6,000mAh battery, and an awesome-looking clip-on cooler.

The AeroActive Cooler 6 features a thermoelectric AI cooling system for active temperature control and physical gaming buttons. The design lowers the surface temperature near the CPU to prevent in-game lags. There are three active cooling modes: Cooling mode uses just the fan, Frosty mode adds the thermoelectric chip powered by just the phone, and Frozen mode is the same as Frosty mode but uses external power via the side charging port.

The AeroActive Cooler 6 guides cooling airflow directly to hotspots on the back cover of the phone. ASUS claims that it can lower the surface temperature near the CPU by up to 25°C. There’s a built-in humidity sensor with a protection mechanism, so don't worry about the condensation created by cooling your phone.

The rear triple-camera system on ROG Phone 6 features a flagship Sony IMX766 50 MP main wide-angle camera with improved image quality and HDR processing, an ultrawide 13 MP second camera, and a macro camera. There’s also a 12 MP front camera.

The Pro version of the smartphone has a small display on the back that can show customizable animation graphics. Additionally, it has up to 18GB RAM as opposed to ROG Phone 6's 16GB. Also, the Pro comes only in the "Storm White" color, while the regular model also offers a "Phantom Black" version.

The Phone 6 will start at €999 and the 6 Pro at €1,299 – they'll launch in the UK and Europe first and then come to the US, India, and other countries later.
