Balatro Latest Update Invites Geralt & Dave The Diver to the Deck

LocalThunk, the developer behind the hit roguelike card game Balatro, has finally unveiled the second surprise he teased earlier this month. The free Friends of Jimbo update just went live on all platforms, and it brings collaborations with four beloved games: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Vampire Survivors, Dave the Diver, and Among Us. 

This collaboration means that four new decks are introduced to the deckbuilding game. You will see the most beloved characters from those titles, and each of the crossover decks has its own style of animations to fit the game’s style. 

Earlier this month, LocalThunk teased three surprises that are coming this year. The first one was announced the following day: the game would have a major gameplay update, which is totally free, as it celebrated the two million sales milestone. Now, there is only one surprise to be unveiled, which, judging by its position in the middle of the teaser deck, could be the biggest and most exciting one. 

Do you think the last surprise would be the mobile version of the game that players have longed for? LocalThunk promised to drop the surprise before the end of this summer, so it probably won’t take long for us to know what it really is.
