The full release of the PC version of Baldur's Gate 3 happened on August 3, and within just three hours, the project attracted over 300,000 concurrent players on Steam. Then, the game got to an even more impressive level reaching 472,136 concurrent players.
As for the Twitch platform, streams of the fantasy RPG from Larian Studios based on Dungeons & Dragons attracted over 450,000 viewers at its peak.
Another cool fact about the release of Baldur's Gate 3 is that the game managed to surpass its previous record for online players on Steam, which was set during early access, by more than six times.
