BattleBit Remastered Will Fight Against Cheaters

After two weeks of DDOS attacks, the developers will seek professionals to help with anti-cheats.

The low-poly FPS BattleBit Remastered launched in Early Access astonishingly well, becoming Steam's bestseller on day one. The developers shared the results of the first two weeks and explained what players should expect soon.

Despite the game's success, the launch wasn't as smooth as the developers hoped. The servers were bombarded by DDOS attacks, but the team managed to fix the weakness in the firewall.

"As a result of these attacks on our game servers, our server scheduling system also malfunctioned (e.g., 900 people waiting in queue, etc.), which significantly affected our development. We had to focus on collecting attack data, analyzing it, and working on fixing this flaw in our firewall."

In the future, the creators will hire a team that "specializes in detecting cheats and weeding out possible cheaters." BattleBit Remastered will also get new weapons, gadgets, maps, and remakes of existing maps as well as new game modes and servers with dedicated game modes.
