Battlefield-Like Scene Done With Pen Pressure In Geometry Nodes

Pavel Oliva demonstrated how you can use a graphic tablet's pen with Blender.

3D Artist Pavel Oliva has shared a cool demo leveraging Blender's Geometry Nodes to control the height with a graphic tablet's pen pressure, quite literally "drawing" a Battlefield-style environment.

Pen pressure adjusts the radius attribute to the spline that you can use to manipulate things. "You can tweak it by selecting points and using Ctrl+S to change the radius, but it's twice less cool than using a pen", commented the artist.

This setup isn't available for download yet because Pavel Oliva planned to remodel the sandbags before releasing it. Pavel Oliva is an experienced artist who has mastered Geometry Nodes and regularly presents mind-blowing Blender projects, including these mushroomsprocedural wood platforms, and a 50 Cent rig. He has also created the modular desert kit and the Buildify library – both of which you should definitely check out and follow him on X/Twitter for more amazing 3D art.
