Become a Chair or a Trash Bag with This Unity-Powered Platformer

Teeto is an upcoming indie game in which cute little characters fight shadowy monsters while absorbing the environment.

If you are a fan of indie games, check out Teeto, an upcoming platformer made with Unity in which an adorable little character absorbs the environment.

The game's characters are a tiny blob, Teeto, and its friend, a little rabbit named Nory, who fight giant shadowy monsters. It's not clear what the enemies are up to and who they are, but Teeto has to defend itself and its friends. It is also a mystery what Teeto is by its nature. It's just a little blob, and it has an ability that is useful when fighting the dark, unknown creatures – Teeto can absorb the environment and acquire its features. For instance, absorbing fire gives the character the ability to melt things, absorbing ice makes it able to freeze other objects, etc.

Teeto can become literally anything. It can appear as a trash bag after running into it and then scatter pieces of rubbish or transform into a little chair, which throws cushions:

The fun starts even before you start playing, as you can interact with the game's elements in the lobby, drawing with markers on the board.

Teeto and Nory's adventures bring them to various places, such as a forest, a hotel, a dining room, or a dance floor. Take a look at the gameplay clip showcased by the developers:

You can dress Teeto as a basketball player, a rockstar, a businessman, a dragon, and more.

The project is in early development, and only the demo is available now. The devs showcased a short clip demonstrating the progress of creating the game over the nine months it's been under development:

The game features split-screen co-op mode. Recently, the developers added a new level to the demo, in which the main characters happen to be on top of high city buildings and then suddenly get into a musical chase section. In this update, the developers introduced various quality-of-life changes, bug fixes, and other improvements in gameplay and optimization. Take a look at the new level:
