Bethesda Released A New Patch For Starfield

The update 1.7.33 improves the issues with performance and stability, as well as fixes general gameplay bugs.

Launched on September 6, Starfield became the biggest launch Bethesda had, resulting in over 10 million players venturing through the expansive universe of the game and enjoying the freedom of space adventures.

To make the players' experience even more pleasant, the creators keep improving the game and creating new patches. Speaking of which, on September 25, the developer released the update 1.7.33 for Starfield on Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Store, and Steam. Within this new patch, the creators addressed the issues with performance, stability, and general gameplay problems. Here you can have a look at the improvements made:

Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed a problem with characters not being in their proper locations.
  • Fixed a problem where Star Stations were incorrectly identified as player-owned ships.
  • Fixed a problem where players could access a vendor's complete inventory.

 

Graphics Improvements

  • Fixed a problem that caused star lens flares not to appear correctly (AMD GPUs).
  • Fixed an upscaling problem that could lead to blurry textures.
  • Fixed a problem that could lead to photosensitivity issues when scrolling through the inventory menu.

 

Performance and Stability Improvements

  • Fixed a problem where the Hand Scanner led to hitching.
  • Various stability and performance improvements to address crashing and freezes.

 

Ships Fixes

  • Fixed a problem that would lead to displayed items disappearing when applied to in-ship mannequins.
  • Fixed a problem that would lead to items being stored in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks disappearing after commandeering another ship.

Speaking of the improvements, a few days ago Halk Hogan released a set of new enhanced texture mods for Starfield, which mainly focuses on improving different environmental textures found in cities and beyond, including rocks, walls, floors, terrain, etc., as well as enhances the appearance of NPC and fire effects. Another modder, 105gun, added a mod called SlowerThanLight allowing you to enjoy seamless trips among the stars.
