At Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Bethesda released an official gameplay trailer for Starfield, a highly-anticipated sci-fi RPG.
The newly-revealed trailer provided an extended look at the game, demonstrating its visual style and other-worldly landscapes, showcasing some of its gameplay mechanics, and more. Additionally, Bethesda announced that Starfield's release date hasn't changed, and the game is still coming on September 6, 2023, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
Following the event, Bethesda also conducted a dedicated Starfield Direct presentation, offering a deep dive into its upcoming RPG. During the presentation, Bethesda's Director Todd Howard spoke about Starfield's technical capabilities, discussed the game's combat system and driving mechanics, demonstrated its UI and character creator, talked about its story and companions, and provided a comprehensive overview of the game's spaceships.
