Beyond Good & Evil 2 Has A New Lead Writer

World of Warcraft writer Sarah Arellano joined Ubisoft.

It appears Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still alive and kicking as the project now has a new specialist helping to shape its story. Narrative designer Sarah Arellano, who worked at Blizzard, revealed on Twitter the game got a new lead writer.

A little is known about the current state of the title but the original goal was to build a grand sci-fi story and add several explorable planets.

The first part was created by Rayman developer Michel Ancel, who first worked on the sequel, too, but left the project in September 2020 to focus full-time on running a wildlife sanctuary.

Back in July, we also reported that Ubisoft's Beyond Good and Evil 2 has reportedly started playtesting when insider Tom Henderson tweeted that the game is "very much alive." You can learn more here
