Bioshock 4 Developer is "Ramping Up," Adding 30 More Positions

It brings fresh hope to the new Bioshock game announced 5 years ago.

BioShock Infinite

2K's Cloud Chamber, the studio working on the next BioShock title, is actively seeking for more talents.

Jeff Spoonhower, the senior cinematic designer, recently announced on LinkedIn that over 30 positions are available at the Montreal-based studio. Initially, he phrased the hiring advertisement as "The BioShock team at 2K Cloud Chamber is ramping up!", but later changed "ramping up" to "hiring". Thanks to Games Radar+, we were able to see the original wording.

The vacancies cover a wide range of roles, from artists and narrative designers to cinematics, indicating that they are intensifying the development of the next BioShock game, which has been eagerly anticipated for over a decade.

Back in December 2019, 2K Games set up the Cloud Chamber studio to develop the next BioShock game. A job offer was posted in May 2021, hinting that the studio is using Unreal Engine 5 for BioShock 4.
