Bitkraft Ventures Is Expanding to Asia for Gaming Investments

The company is bringing on former Riot Games and Temasek talent.

Bitkraft Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on investment in gaming, announced that it is expanding to Asia for new investments. The company is bringing on Jin Oh, former president of publishing at Riot Games, as a partner and Jonathan Huang, former associate director at Temasek, as principal. Together they will help the fund find conventional gaming projects in Asia and high-potential blockchain games.

"This strategic expansion comes at a time when Asia’s gaming and technology industries continue to experience tremendous growth despite Asia-Pacific already being the largest gaming market in the world."

Considering Bitkraft's focus on Web3 games, the decision to expand to Asia is not surprising as there are a lot of opportunities and interest in blockchain titles.
