Black Myth: Wu Kong Gets a New Gameplay Trailer

Check out a 5-minute gameplay trailer for Game Science’s upcoming title.

Have a look at this new 5-minute gameplay trailer for Black Myth: Wu Kong, an upcoming action-adventure RPG that is being developed by Chinese indie studio Game Science.

Black Myth: Wu Kong is based on the classical 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West where the player steps into the shoes of a monkey that bears a striking resemblance to the Monkey King from the Chinese folklore. The character has to fight through an array of enemies using a wide range of abilities including the power to transform into different creatures: from small flying insects to giant monsters.

The new trailer showcases the game running on Unreal Engine 5 at 4K/60FPS HDR and reveals some new battles and boss fights, demonstrates the main character's skills and abilities, and unveils new stunning environments and diverse characters.

The game is set to release sometime in 2023, although the developers haven't confirmed the exact release date yet.
