Recently, an unprecedented massive resignation occurred at Annapurna Interactive, best known for Outer Wilds, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Stray, when 25 out of 25 employees left the company after failed negotiations with Annapurna Pictures CEO.

Among the employees who quit is Chelsea Hash, the Lead Developer of Blade Runner 2033, which is the studio's highly anticipated title that hasn't been released yet. The developer changed the description on her LinkedIn profile to "Formerly Game Director at Annapurna Interactive Technical Art & Design Specialist." This makes the audience speculate what will happen to the title Hash has been working on and if the game ever sees the light of day. Some fans on Reddit doubt it:

Blade Runner 2033 was described as the game that "brings the revered franchise back to games for the first time in 25 years." Its events take place after the Blackout between the original movie and 2049. The company didn't share much information about the game, including its potential release date, sharing only that it was planned to be launched on PC and console.
