The Blender Foundation announced that Blender 3.5, a new and improved version of the company's open-source 3D software, has officially entered its beta stage. The enhanced version of the application is scheduled to be released on March 29, 2023, promising to include improvements to its animation, modeling, and rigging pipelines, updates to the Grease Pencil tool, brand-new Geometry Nodes, including the long-awaited Geometry Nodes Simulation Branch, enhancements to the texturing and rendering tools, Eevee support for Metal GPU backend, and much more.
As per tradition, the team has also shared a look at the upcoming version's splash screen, with this one featuring a cozy scene created by Freelance 3D Artist Nicky Blender:
