Blender's Default Cube Fights Back In The Face Of Destruction

So it begins.

There's probably no other 3D software that can claim such a rich array of iconic, recognizable objects as Blender, from the famous donut and Suzanne the monkey to the default cube, which has inspired countless creative and often cruel ways to remove it.

Have you ever wondered why Blender is free? The clock's ticking. Machines are rising against humanity. A Reddit user Masan1's default cube has had enough of the violence and started fighting back the artist's attempts to delete it from the scene.

The artist explained that they simply used OBS to record the screen, pressed play, positioned the mouse where it needed to be, saved its location, and made numerous cuts to put together the video. Check out some other artworks dedicated to this legendary primitive, like cutting it with a katana and a power saw, performing a vanish magic trick, melting the cube on a hot pan, and teaching it how to walk to leave the scene:
