Blizzard says this is the music to "slaughter to."
Blizzard has released a three-hour-long music playlist made in the spirit of the popular music radio Lofi Girl.
The playlist includes remixes of three Diablo tracks from the original Diablo and Diablo II. Instead of Lofi Girl, the girl in headphones – the unofficial mascot of the lo-fi musical genre, the animation that accompanies the music features an elderly man writing by candlelight in front of an ominous stained-glass window.
Unlike the lo-fi hip-hop radio, which is suitable for studying and relaxation, the Diablo Lofi Beats playlist, according to the developers, is "beats to game to, beats to slaughter to."
The remixes for the playlist were created by Jason Charles Miller and Jamison Boaz and the images were made by Losq Studios. Blizzard has clarified that this playlist is just the first part, hinting that the company will release another collection in the future.
You can listen to the Diablo LoFi Beats To Stay A While & Listen To above or on the Diablo YouTube channel.
