Blogger Showed Virtual Desktops Made with Meta Quest Pro's Passthrough

A great practical application for the headset.

Tech blogger Marques Brownlee has shared how Meta Quest Pro's Passthrough mode shows virtual desktops. Brownlee pointed the headset at the laptop, and mixed reality presented three massive monitors, each capturing different apps.

Passthrough combines the physical environment with virtual elements in real time. The feature, which used to be black-and-white in Quest 2, now offers a multitude of tech opportunities in full color.

"Instead of being confined to the dimensions of your desk, you can set up a big virtual workspace with multiple screens spread all around you while still using your physical keyboard and mouse in productivity apps like Immersed."

Brownlee promised to make a longer video on the subject, so subscribe to him on YouTube and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
