polygoniq has released botaniq 6.8 – the latest version of the vegetation library for Blender. The High & Dry update adds 53 new assets: 17 types of grass, 9 succulents, 11 shrubs, 5 plants, and 11 deciduous.
The developer also reworked the material system by cleaning up and unifying the library. Instead of object color, custom properties are now used to adjust materials, so assets are compatible with the Geo-Scatter plug-in.
Additionally, a new adjustment option called Hue per Leaf was added as well as support of adjustments for assets using grass materials. Autumn colors in Season Offset are now bent in a more realistic way, and the issue with the Integrate into Asset browser operator incorrectly reporting failed integration is now fixed.
Full individual botaniq licenses are available for $129, limited versions start at $2. There is a 15% discount until June 21.
