That's just in: A PC version of Rockstar's original Red Dead Redemption, one of the most anticipated ports many believed to be a pipe dream, is nearing its launch and may get officially announced in the coming days or even hours, according to a recent finding shared by data-miner specializing in Rockstar's titles, Tez2.
According to a snippet of code shared by Tez2, sourced from Rockstar Games' original website, both the game and its zombie-themed DLC, Undead Nightmare, are gearing up for a PC release. It's presumed that the developer has already primed the announcement and aims to roll it out in the near future. The promotional text unearthed by Tez2 reads as follows:
"Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Read Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare, now playable on PC. Experience the epic Western adventures that defined a generation."
As of now, Rockstar has neither confirmed nor denied the news, and no official announcement has been made.
