Bulwark: An Upcoming Open-World Building Simulator by Tomas Sala

Check out Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles, an upcoming open-world building simulator being developed by BAFTA-nominated Artist and Solo Game Developer Tomas Sala. Offering an experimental take on the building genre, the game will allow you to gather resources from the ocean floor, explore a sizeable and minimalistic 3D world, and populate the map with castles, towers, settlements, and other structures of your creation. The absolute highlight of the game, however, is the lack of any grids or restrictions, enabling the player to build on any surface they want.
