The report also reads that in the fiscal year 2021, total sales of all titles released by Capcom exceeded 32.6 million copies. In comparison, the annual sales volume in the previous year was 30.1 million units.
Resident Evil Village which was released last May for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC managed to sell 6.1 million copies worldwide, and global sales of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, an RPG title released last July for Nintendo Switch and PC, exceeded 1.5 million units.
Capcom also shared forecasts for the next fiscal year saying that it anticipates achieving net sales of 120,000 million yen ($933.3 million) and an operating income of 48,000 million yen ($373.3 million).
