CD Projekt & Investors Who Sued the Company Enter Settlement Talks

The company was initially sued for misrepresenting Cyberpunk 2077.

Back in early 2021, CD Projekt was sued by investors who had claimed that the company misrepresented Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of the game's launch and that the studio failed to disclose that the game was unplayable due to the gigantic amount of bugs. Now, a year after the notorious game's launch, the two sides have finally entered the settlement negotiation phase.

"The court had suspended proceedings concerning the motion to dismiss due to the parties having entered into negotiations concerning a potential settlement," reads the announcement shared by the company. "Should a consensus be reached with regard to the conditions of the potential settlement, the parties will file for its approval by the court."
