ChatGPT is Available to "Pre-Order" on Android
OpenAI is getting ready to launch a new version of the popular AI bot.
Two months after releasing an app for iOS, OpenAI announced ChatGPT is now available to "pre-order" for Android users.
You can, of course, already use the AI bot on Android devices via browsers but the app provides a superior experience. When an iPhone version launched, it was downloaded half a million times in the first week.
It appears that the Android version should have similar functionality. The iPhone version lets users sync their conversations and preferences across devices, so you can also switch between Android and iPhone and use the same chats.
The Android version is said to be launching later this week. Little is known about the availability in different regions right now.
Users can now sign up to be notified when the Android version launched – you just need to click "pre-register" on the Play Store.
Previously, researchers checked how ChatGPT's accuracy changed over time, and it seems like the chatbot is getting dumber. Learn more here.
