Check Out an Upcoming Blender Tool for Turning Splines Into Brush Strokes

Powered by Geometry Nodes, the tool was created for the soon-to-be-launched Blender 4.1.

Tim Dub, a Visual and Technical Artist specializing in creating beautiful and at the same time functional products, has recently impressed hundreds of people on Twitter by showcasing their upcoming tool for Blender.

Check out Spline Brush, a WIP Geometry Nodes-powered tool that can convert curves to cards based on surface normals and splines on a mesh surface, allowing one to paint brush strokes or decals on a 3D model by simply drawing lines. According to the creator, Spline Brush is being created as a downloadable product for Blender 4.1, the newest available version of the software set to be officially released later this week.

Also, check out the Spline Brush's previous showcase shared by the author back in February:

We highly encourage you to follow Tim Dub on Twitter so as not to miss the tool's release. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
