Indie Game Developer Sakis Rogkas has recently teased an upcoming PS1-style old-school rally game with an impressive gameplay trailer that may or may not cause you to shed a single nostalgia tear, depending on when your personal Golden Age of Gaming happened to be.
With 2D backgrounds and authentic pixelated graphics, the soon-to-be-released title could easily be mistaken for a genuine retro product from the PSX era, thanks to Sakis' meticulous focus on the game's visuals. The newly released demo offered a look at one of the game's playable tracks, depicting a car navigating a dirt road within a gorgeous low-poly spruce forest. As mentioned by the developer, the upcoming game is powered by Unity and can be expected to hit Steam "hopefully before summer".
"I'm really overwhelmed by the positive comments and I want to thank you all," commented the creator. "I'm so happy that you like my game and actually feel the nostalgia as much as I do while working on this project. I'm working hard on this and your support is much appreciated. Stay tuned for more!"
