Check Out Creature Rigging Done for Mufasa: The Lion King

Vinod Soni shared his contribution to the movie.

Artists behind Mufasa: The Lion King have done a great job simulating animals, their movement, and behavior. Rigging artist Vinod Soni offers you an amazing opportunity to see his work on making creatures move in the film.

He was responsible for rigging and muscle simulation of multiple animals, including lions, buffaloes, monkeys, elephants, crocodiles, rhinos, and hippos. You can see some key moments and inner workings of their bodies in the reel above.

Soni has worked on other movies as part of MPC, a well-known VFX studio that has recently been shut down together with its parent Technicolor Group and all its subsidiaries.
