Check Out Naval Combat Scenes in New Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza Game

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio provided a closer look at the upcoming action-adventure Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii during the Like a Dragon Direct on January 9, 2025, and showcased the game's features.

The video shows the character's two unique fighting styles, Mad Dog and Sea Dog, that can be used in detailed flashy naval battle scenes. It also teases such features as a fully customizable ship equipped with various weapons, including cannonballs, laser weapons, or flamethrowers. The game's adventure involves training your crewmates and bonding with them, as well as navigating the vast expanses of the ocean.

Apart from this, you can take a look at the game's locations, which include an island where the character finds himself and Madlantis, a secret criminal hideout. The details of the plot were leaked last May, and no one assumed they were true until the main storyline was disclosed later. The game's Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama shared that for some time, he wanted to make a game called Like a Dragon: Tuna, in which Kazuma Kiryu, as a tuna fisherman, embarks on a sea journey to fight against fishing boats.
