Check Out Retro-Style Post-Apocalyptic Survival Horror with Fixed Camera

Ground Zero is an upcoming retro-inspired horror set in South Korea, in which you uncover the mystery hidden in the fog.

If you like games with a dystopian atmosphere and stylish visuals, check out Ground Zero from Malformation Games, a WIP retrofuturistic survival horror coming on PC, Xbox X/S, and PlayStation 5.

The game is set in post-apocalyptic South Korea, devastated by a meteor impact. Two months after the air turned breathable, an elite Korean operative and her Canadian partner are sent to conduct an investigation. You will need to find out what happened in Busan and uncover the nature of the meteor, the origin of the strange growths that appeared after the impact, and why it has corrupted the life that remained in the aftermath.

You will be able to defend yourself with a wide range of abilities, from firearms to martial combat. While completing the mission, you will not only fight terrifying monsters that lurk in the shadows but also explore a beautiful city, from shoreline towns and temples to the urban center. Also, there are unlockable items that make the investigation more entertaining: you can choose from alternate outfits, additional game modes, and discover various hidden endings.

Ground Zero conveys the nostalgia of classic horror games, featuring fixed cameras, pre-rendered backgrounds, custom difficulty, and optional tank controls.
