The developer of Rewilders: The Lost Spring showcased WIP gameplay footage.
Javier Ramello Marchioni, Head of Herobeat Studios, the developer behind the upcoming action roguelite Rewilders: The Lost Spring, showcased an animated setup demonstrating the fighting sequence from the game.
The dev shared that the creators drew inspiration from Sekiro for visualizing the grappling hook and noted that in Rewilders' gameplay, a player can jump right after reaching the grappling point to build speed, then chain it into a glide or wall run to give themselves more ways to traverse the world.
Rewilders: The Lost Spring is an action roguelite that tells an emotional story about friendship, family, and restoration, in which you explore a dynamic open world filled with hostile enemies. The game features numerous metroidvania-inspired traversal abilities, such as a glider, grappling hook, or wall-running, which you can use to reach and explore new biomes.
