Forest Stook, a 14-year-old 3D Artist also known as The Workshop Warrior, continues his series of outstanding digital environments, this time presenting an absolutely gorgeous 3D scene of a winter forest that impressed thousands over on Reddit.
According to the creator, the scene was built in Blender using trees from one of Evermotion's asset packs (likely one of these two), which he modified to look more wintry by using a Geometry Nodes setup to remove most of the leaves. In response to a comment, Forest also explained how he made the snow near the river look slushy, noting that the effect was achieved by using the Z-position below a certain threshold to darken/lower the roughness.
