Check out The Roads Must Roll, an add-on for Blender by Astopia, which can boost the creation of your projects as it can generate diverse roads with many details for your urban scenes. The creators researched how roads and their details look in real life and what dimensions they have, so your 3D setting will be highly realistic.
The modifier follows a curve and features approximately 150 various settings. You can create a regular road, a highway, or a bridge. The add-on includes 14 procedural props of diverse lifelike detailed roads, from bicycle bridges to traffic lights and road markings. It also has pre-made intersections to simplify your work.
With this add-on, the scenes will be realistic and detailed, as it also includes cars, so the roads won't be empty. Apart from this, there's an option to visualize nighttime scenes with street lights. You can also choose from six types of parking strips, adjust the number of lanes on a highway, add bike lanes... The variety of options is amazing.
