Check out This Buckshot Roulette-Inspired Strategy Horror Game

"Be the last to burn."

If you're a fan of Buckshot Roulette and just love its adrenaline-fueled, unpredictable gameplay that blends chance and strategy, you're sure to enjoy the strategic battle in ARSONATE, a unique first-person card-based strategy game that draws inspiration from Buckshot Roulette.

In ARSONATE, players are transported into a locked fire tower, where a treacherous forest fire spreads with each flip of a card. As a player, you have control over how the fire spreads on your side of the field. However, beware, as some cards can trigger unexpected events or deliver random utilities for you to exploit.

Your goal is to outwit the mysterious "Host" and protect your tower to earn your freedom. When a tower card is flipped, the game ends, and one of the players will "burn". The challenge is to be the last tower standing. With three possible endings and an optional difficulty setting, ARSONATE offers around 15-30 minutes of intense playtime.

Developed by indie developer Nash using Unity, the game is set to launch soon. You can try out the demo on itch.io. Notably, the game was initially designed for the Game Jam 14 hosted by Pirate Software, securing the No.1 spot for its artistic style, and then developed into a demo version. More gameplay footage from the game can be viewed on Nash's Twitter page:

ARSONATE now has a Steam page. If you enjoy it, don't hesitate to add it to your wishlist.
