3D Artist Jan van den Hemel, known for his cool book Blender Secrets and popular 1-minute tutorials, released a new video sharing the result of experimenting with fast blockout techniques in Blender.

This simple yet effective modeling approach, which the artist called the "double subdiv method", is great for quickly creating base meshes. It allows for creativity while ensuring quad topology is automatically maintained. Watch the full tutorial below:
