Developed in partnership with The French National Museum of Natural History, Vertebrates is a comparative interactive anatomy 3D atlas constantly receiving new updates and 3D scans. Most of them are mammals, including humans, however, the collection includes dinosaurs, amphibians, fish, and other curious species.
Perfect for creature artists and designers, Vertebrates allows you to browse through a collection of bones placed together as anatomical specimens scanned in high definition, and manipulate them in 3D space with the help of measurement and comparison tools. Some specimens even come with walking cycles.

Although you can't download the models, the app allows you to compare two models on one screen side-by-side, and selecting a bone in one skeleton highlights the corresponding one in the other.

Vertebrates also comes with measuring tools, allowing one to calculate the distance between any two points on a skeleton, or the angle between two bones.
