“Like a peek behind the curtain.”
Game developer and digital artist James Dalzell Hodge, aka Jam2go, announced their new title, GANGSTALK, a psychological horror from the point of view of your stalkers.
You play Cam, an urban explorer wearing a hi-vis vest, who’s been under surveillance by the megacorp PANDO. He entered Kudzu Vale to look for answers but found himself getting deeper into a nightmare as he collected more clues.
“Take control of Cam as he explores the tangled streets of Kudzu Vale, piecing together the conspiracy. Watch him through the fragmented perspectives of CCTV Cameras, Devices, Agents, and the enigmatic Datamoshers.”

The announcement trailer showcased the unique concept, amazing sound design, and an eerie atmosphere. The game’s fixed camera angles immediately stand out, which Jam2go describes as allowing you to “peek behind the curtain.” The perspective isn’t simply an abstract angle; when it moves, it can hit items down onto the floor as if there is really an invisible person with a camera stalking you.
In the video below, the developer delves into their opinion on the “2nd person” concept, how it makes being chased even scarier, and how, in the end, the game adopted the CCTV point of view.
GANGSTALK is scheduled to release in 2025 and you can already add it to the wishlist on Steam.
