Check Out This Interactive Pixel-Art Pond Created with Unity

The setup tracks real-life movement and transforms it into interactions with the 3D scene.

3D Artist chickendream showcased this unusual project – an interactive machine that observes a pixel-art pond.

The setup, mixing retro aesthetics with modern technology, was built using Python with MediaPipe and connected to Unity via OSC communication. It tracks movement in real time and translates it into interactions within the pixel-art environment.
