Check Out This UE5 Recreation of God of War's Leviathan Axe Combat

Check out this WIP recreation of the God of War axe, which is showcased by a Reddit user known as BearNickle.

Setup in Unreal Engine, the animation is a combat study aimed at recreating the Leviathan Axe combat from the game. It accurately depicts the handling of the weapon in the melee fight, replicating realistic physics, as well as the temper of the series protagonist.

As for the God of War games, the next series' game might be set in Egypt, as a recent insider report suggests. There are also rumors that the next Sony Santa Monica's project is being directed by Cory Barlog, who worked on the previous God of War titles. However, it remains uncertain whether the studio's next project will continue the series or be a new title.
