Check Out This VR Game Prototype That Resembles a Digital Constructor

Solo Developer ElasticSea showcased an exciting game prototype of a VR game created using Apple's mixed-reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro. The prototype was created using Unity.

In the game, players can assemble blocky structures in augmented reality, much like working with a digital construction set. The artist designed a wide range of charming blocky items, such as this adorable octopus, that can be built and explored within the digital space.

ElasticSea is the creator of a VR block-building project, Blockworks. In this creative sandbox, you can build any object with hundreds of blocks, following the instructions or expressing your creativity, and decorate your room interior with your digital creations.

Recently, the dev shared an experiment with a new mechanic for the project, also made with Unity. The creator uses the default Oculus player rig with the autohand plugin, which they rewrote and customized, and some custom finger interactions.
