Controlling Unreal Engine 5 Camera With Inertia Wheels

"Breaking out the wheels for Unreal Engine 5 and Cine Tracer 2."

Unreal Engine Developer & Cinematographer Matt Workman, who earlier showcased a setup for playing drums in Unreal Engine 5 using mocap, shared a video of him using Nodo Inertia Wheels, a wireless long-range digital camera controller to achieve difficult and creative shots while filming, to control the camera inside Unreal Engine.

Matt Workman is known for mixing traditional filmmaking concepts with Unreal Engine. Currently, he's working on Cine Tracer 2, a UE5-powered virtual filmmaking sandbox that allows filmmakers to visualize short films, commercials, and feature films. It's available on Steam in Early Access and you can learn more about it in our previous article.

We highly recommend you check out Matt's X/Twitter and YouTube pages for Cine Tracer 2 updates and other creative projects and ideas. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
